“Kim’s insights helped me see things from admissions departments’ perspective, so that I could convince them of my merit.”

Kim was an excellent coach for my art school college essays.

When I first approached my applications, I found it incredibly difficult to distill my passion for a school and what I wanted to pursue into words. But Kim helped me cut right to the essential idea: In my essays, we created on-point, highly convincing arguments for what I would achieve at each school.

Kim met the unconventional application process for art schools head-on, making sure that my personality and art style shined through in each essay. Kim had a wonderful and unique way of encouraging my authentic writing style, while refining my writing to eliminate repetition and prioritize clarity so that everything still sounded incredibly professional.

Her insights helped me focus on what was important in my applications—to see things from admissions departments’ perspective so that I could convince them of my merit.

Thanks to Kim’s coaching, I secured acceptance to the vast majority of colleges I applied to. I was also awarded multiple merit scholarships, including a 25K scholarship from Parsons The New School. Kim helped me achieve my dreams of pursuing illustration because of her excellent guidance.
